Associate Therapist
Registered Social Worker (BA, BSW, MSW, RSW)
Randi is a Registered Social Worker (RSW) with over a decade of experience supporting individuals and families through life’s most challenging moments and periods of change. Her work often centres on supporting people who have experienced trauma or are navigating the lasting impact of difficult or overwhelming events.
Areas of focus in Randi’s work include trauma, grief and loss, relationships, attachment, and parenting across the lifespan. This includes supporting families during the early parenting years (ages 0–6) as well as working with adults healing from childhood trauma.
Randi strives to be reliable, authentic, and consistent— as a therapist shows up with steadiness and care. Randi is deeply protective of children and supports caregivers in navigating complex systems and advocating for their families when needed. Sessions are grounded in warmth, compassion, humour, and creativity, with an emphasis on collaboration and respect for each person’s lived experience.
Nervous-system awareness is thoughtfully woven into the work. Randi is passionate about offering information and approachable strategies that clients can take with them beyond sessions—supporting regulation, stability, and a greater sense of safety in daily life—without placing pressure on the process.
Randi holds a Master of Social Work from Toronto Metropolitan University (2020), a Bachelor of Social Work from the same institution (2019), and a Social Service Worker Diploma from George Brown College (2015). Since beginning her career in 2013, she has completed additional training in trauma treatment and trauma-informed modalities and has developed a strong and ongoing interest in maternal and perinatal mental health.
Ongoing learning is an important part of Randi’s practice. Continued study in attachment, trauma, and evidence-based interventions informs work that honours the inherent worth and dignity of every person. Care is taken to highlight strengths, resilience, coping strategies, and intuitive knowing already present.
At the heart of this work is a belief that healing is possible and deeply personal. Randi is committed to exploring what healing means for each individual, allowing the process to unfold at a pace that feels supportive and realistic. She approaches therapy as a collaborative space grounded in trust, curiosity, and care.
Outside of her clinical work, Randi enjoys practicing yoga, reading, and gardening. She loves spending time with her cat and recently welcomed a rescue dog into her family.
